“I have very thick hair and this brush serves as a brush, comb and scalp stimulator. It is very durable, I just wish the little teeth would stay in place longer. :(”

“Whatever they did they changed it from the original one that I got a year ago, and I have the original black one this 1 that is in the picture. I just got the new one and I brushed my hair 1 time and a bristle was missing, (see photo) not sure if it was missing when I got it or if it come out when I was brushing my hair the very first time but it doesn't even feel the same as their original. The original made my hair very soft and silky. I have thick black hair and I love their original brush. this 1 that I just got doesn't hold up to its name. The quality has changed. It doesn't even feel the same.Not sure why.”

Hi Irene, thank you for taking your time to review your new brush. From your images I can confirm that your old brush is our D90L detangler and your new brush is our D38 paddle brush, these are indeed different brushes. I can also confirm that the missing pin in your new D38 brush is an air hole designed to add comfort to when styling. I hope this helps explain and that you will love your new brush.
