Hello Azsia, thank you for your review of our D38 Power Paddle. Could you be referring to the hole in the pad, I can confirm that this is an air-hole - our D38 features an air cushioned pad which flexes and adjusts to the contours of your head and the hole is required to so that air can be dispelled when you use it. “D38 for me is the best detangler to use for my textured hair when using conditioner. The flexible pins and cushioning of the brush is gentle and smoothing on my hair. Wouldn't want to be without it when conditioning my hair.”
