“Great coverage, easy to use, wonderful full colour. I used it to colour over very faded/washed-out purple (mostly blue/green at this point!) (over pre-lightened) and it was very easy and did the job perfectly.”

“I use natural black on my roots and some reds on my midlengths and ends. Normally it works great but one time some purple pigment from the black ran into the red making it turn pink. Still looked great, just something to bare in mind. Maybe be sure to leave it in for an hour and rinse with very cold water to avoid running.”

“Very disappointed with this product as it simply did not work as it should. Bought the black to colour my light brown hair for a party and having followed the instructions exactly my hair only resulted in being a tiny bit darker! It was nowhere near black. Poor product”

Hi, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. Sorry that you have had a negative experience dying your hair black. We do recommend lightening hair to level 9 or 10 (blonde) before applying, to achieve the best result. However, the colour may have not worked to its best ability for a number of factors such as; if any of the previous colours remained in the hair, condition, porosity, etc. If you have any more questions regarding the application and your result, please contact our customer service team.
