“I have light blond hair and the silver dye didn't do a thing for my colour it's just the same. I wouldn't use this product again.”

Silver is one of our lightest shades, so results can vary depending on the base and porosity, and works best on bleached hair. For a stronger result, we recommend ensuring the hair is fully saturated and possibly leaving it on a little longer or applying to dry hair. “Unfortunately the colour didn't take at all on my (bleached). I left it on for 30 minutes (so the longer time) as the packaging advises and had shampooed my hair, but not conditioned. Not sure if it could be an issue with the type of shampoo used? Not sure what went wrong but willing to give two stars as I know their colours usually work.”

Thank you for your review - we’re sorry to hear the colour didn’t take as expected. It sounds like you followed the instructions correctly. Sometimes hair porosity or product build-up can affect how well the pigment deposits, and very conditioning or silicone-heavy shampoos may leave a slight barrier on the hair. We’d recommend using a clarifying shampoo beforehand and applying to clean, dry hair for best results. 💗

“Have had silver put in professionally, and it looked amazing, so was soooo excited for this. I have bleached blonde hair, and (even though I left this on for an hour!) it did not take at all. Not a singular strand changed, and it hadn't even toned the blonde. The colour in the bottle looked like a 'purple conditioner', so was expecting at least a tone of not a full colour change. Feel totally ripped off. Utterly rubbish!”

“I am really disappointed with the result. I have highlighted grey hair just over shoulder length so used two pots of the colour and left it on for 30 mins. The colour has taken really well on the newly highlighted hair but looks like it has not taken on the old highlighted hair.”
