“I am 58 women, and getting married. My wedding dress is a long black sleeveless gown with shoulder and neck enhancements. I stay in good shape, but at the last minute felt that something was missing. My fiancé immediately quipped “opera gloves”, and that was it! Even though I bought a charcoal grey cashmere cape with a Fox trim to wear with it, I could never shake the idea of gloves. So I went on a mission. And no matter where I looked, unless I wanted a wear and toss pair of cheap imitations, Cornelia James kept coming up as the source. Even my contacts at Neiman Marcus referred to you as the gold standard. But that was not what got me to purchase from Cornelia James. I wrote a letter of inquiry. I had never bought or owned Opera Gloves. And I was concerned about not fighting against the material of my dress, or being to over the top for a small but intimate wedding. To my unexpected surprise, I got an immediate answer. I was told someone named Genevieve would be reaching out. And so it began. A back and forth with someone I now feel I know very well , and who was a close personal friend. Genevieve not only knew the designer of my dress, but knew the material, knew the dress, understood I wanted elegant, but not screaming, and sent me what I should buy and why. She was thorough, specific, and her explanation made me feel confident and comfortable about making my purchase!! In closing my thoughts, I will also say your website process is very positive. After reading through the check out process and seeing your generous and unrestrictive return policy, I knew I was purchasing from the right place.
