Fellow Prismo Attachment for AeroPress Coffee Maker – Brew Espresso-Style Coffee at Home  Supercharge your AeroPress with the Fellow Prismo. The Prismo is a pressure-actuated valve which is designed to be used with the AeroPress Coffee Maker. This attachment produces a buildup of pressure to brew coffee which has a consistency closer to espresso than the AeroPress can make on its own.   The Prismo creates a no-drip seal for a full immersion brew, which means that you do not need to use the inverted brew method with the AeroPress to brew full immersion coffee.   The reusable 70-micron etched filter stops sludge in its tracks and eliminates the need for paper filters. The Prismo fits directly over espresso glasses to pull delicious espresso-like shots at home.   Benefits of the Prismo Produce Espresso-like Coffee: The Fellow Prismo’s valve remains sealed until you press down. This creates a build-up of pressure, and produces coffee with an espresso-like consistency. No Need to Invert Your AeroPress: The no-drip seal means you can brew full-immersion coffees without inverting your AeroPress. Eliminate Filter Papers: The reusable etched metal filter of the Prismo helps to stop the buildup of sludge. This means that you don’t need to rely on filter papers to brew your coffee. Environmentally Friendly: The sustainable and reusable stainless steel metal filter is environmentally friendly. Durable Build: Made from quality materials to withstand the rigors of daily use. Use with All Your Favourite Coffee-based Recipes: Use the Fellow Prismo to upgrade your favourite coffee-based recipes, including espresso-style, Americano, full immersion, cold brew, hot or iced tea, and many more! Integrated Gasket: This prevents the brew from leaking over the sides. Easy Cleaning: After plunging your Prismo, you just need to put the coffee puck in your compost bin and wash with warm, soapy water. Leave out to air dry, or use a coffee towel to dry thoroughly ready for its next use. Product Details of the Fellow Prismo Compatibility:  The Prismo is not compatible with the AeroPress Go or any AeroPress produced between 2005-2009.   Compatible with the new AeroPress Coffee Maker - Clear  Compatible with Carter Wide  Materials and Dimensions:  Body material: Polypropylene  Valve material: Silicone  Filter: 70-micron etched fine stainless steel   2.75” diameter, 1” tall  Model number: FEL1148  (AeroPress Coffee Maker not included)  Warnings:  Please do not brew with Prismo over thin glass vessels. Fantastic, I love making espresso style drinks with my aeropress, the metal filter is great and I never have to do the inverted method again!

it's brilliant, total gamechanger, no more coffee tricking from the Aeropress before you've got enough pressure to get the flavour, no more overflowing mugs as more water got through than you thought, you can use the cup you're going to drink out of to measure the precise amount of water... and the time to stir it, then leaving it a minute before then getting optimum pressure has produced frankly awesome cups of coffee. I didn't realise it would make this much difference. It's not the espresso that was promised but it's a perfect Americano

only bought 1 item off them so this is a review of that really. The Fellow Prismo for the Aeropress is awesome. Total game changer, the coffee doesn't come out until I ask it to, no more overflowing cups and the water hangs out round the coffee long enough to get all the rest of the flavour out of it. Not the best espresso imitation but the americano's have been a whole new level

Not sure how effective this is at replicating espresso, I haven’t tried, but it’s a great kind of anti leak addition which I use all of the time

Very late to the party here, I have seen lots of reviews of AeroPress and different methods / recipes and generally the consensus is that this is a great brewing device to have fun with and make good quality coffee with. So I decided to buy 2, and get the prismo attachment which worked out cheaper if you bought it with the AeroPress, one for me to use and to teach my wife to use as well. I have had a little play, and downloaded a couple of apps with different recipes / methods to use as guide, and have been pleased with the results so will be a great coffee addition to have some alternative brewing methods, and it seems fairly indestructible so should last a while. I’m happy with the purchase of both the AeroPress and prismo attachment although like I said I’m probably 15 years behind at this stage, but I think the devices are still current and popular and have yearly world championships, so they are still very relevant. The prismo attachment means it won’t start dripping as soon as you add the water, only when you start to press down after inserting the plunger. I haven’t really tested it making ‘espresso style’ coffee yet, but if you grind really fine then you could, but I have espresso machine so I don’t, but it works great just as the main attachment to the AeroPress.

This gadget improves the spillage problems of the normal filter (I don’t use it to try to produce more espresso-like shots) and is generally just better to use than the standard one.

Like the title says, I can make great espresso-like coffee without a machine. Great with or without milk.
