About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

Baratza never seems to be satisfied with their products and is always looking for tweaks to improve quality and make them easier to use. The step up from the Virtuoso to the Virtuoso+ is brilliant. “Bought this as an upgrade from the De'Longhi KG79. This was my dream grinder for years. Although it greatly improved my morning brew, the grind retention drove me nuts as there are so many nooks and crannies which the grind could sneak into. No matter how long was the timer, you still have to "purge grind" for about 4 seconds while pumping the hopper lid (if you're using the single dose hopper like me) to push the retained grind through. Pro: In all honesty I was happy to spend extra to have better build quality than the Encore. Plus, it feels great to watch the grind shone under that light.”

“Very happy with the Virtuoso+ for the money. I have a Vario and whilst that is no doubt better, the difference in grind quality is not huge. Build quality seems good, little bit of a fiddle to assemble (note read instructions first!) but all in all I'm very happy. All the parts look to be replaceable so I hope for long service! Excellent service from Coffee hit also.”

“Coming from a bodum barista grinder this was an instant improvement in my coffee. The grind is very uniform. Good build quality and simple to use. My coffee now tastes more complex. Delivery and packaging was great”
