About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

We have the solutions for you to make great coffee at home or in the cafe.

Enjoy!

Two things that make this for me - 1. It’s induction hob-friendly and 2. The thermometer. No more guessing on whether the kettle has gone too cold. Just pop on the induction, turn down to 1 (or off) when it reaches temperature and just keep an eye on it. Perfect for maintaining temperature

Very pleased. Nicely balanced with accurate pouring spout. Works well on a gas burner, no smell after the first use.

This kettle does everything you'd expect from a pour over. The counter weighted handle makes pouring easier and so does the ergonomic design of the handle. On top of all that it looks great in real life. Would absolutely recommend.

I went with CoffeeHit as their pricing was very competitive & customer service pre and post sale has been outstanding. Product was delivered to a local store and picked up with no issues. I have tried a friends Hario kettle and whilst nice; the Fellow is superior in both pouring accuracy and easy of use. The weighted handle and precision cut spout made it very easy to handle and pour the litres worth of water that it holds. The pouring accuracy of the Hario is still very good, but I found the Fellow to give me more control and pour at a much finer rate. Likely due to a lazer cut indentation right on the tip of the spout. Stylistically I love the more angular design. The built in thermostat has been extremely helpful. Just be sure to fill up with enough water to properly submerge the metal reader to give a faster, more accurate reading. I've seen people online complain about the handle being too close to the base and melting when being put on a stovetop. Firstly I've found that a newly boiled kettle of water will sit right in the optimum zones for brewing (200-210F - this is highlighted on the thermometer) - However, I have used the kettle on my gas range and found no issues with the handle catching the heat, or any discolouring happening to the base due to the flames - I've never increased the flames past the centre of the base where the logo is located - The kettle will heat up quickly and keep its temperature for more than long enough to grind some beans. For the extra £30 or so I'm definitely happy with my choice. Don't worry about the handle melting. Just don't engulf the entire thing in flames and you'll be fine! EDIT - The model of this kettle is actually the latest V1.3 model - There are no issues with water running down the outside of the spout.
