I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!

“It is what it is, and it seems well made. It hasn't fallen apart and it protects the counter top. The only thing I would add is that this is not non slip. Ie. it might slip around a little if you don't push straight down or in toward the counter. Now, I did think I would be able to rest the portafilter on the edge, but because of the lip, it immediately just pulled the mat off the counter. So don't do that!”

“As a new machine owner this mat has proved a very useful addition. Tamping and leveling was a bit noisy beforeband I was worried about damaging the worktop. This has reduced noise and helped keep the work area tidier.”
