About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

We have the solutions for you to make great coffee at home or in the cafe.

Enjoy!

I've owned quite a few no name hand grinders over the years, suprised it took me so long to get to one of the more mainstream ones like the Rhino. This is by far one of the best for the price you pay. It's kind of astonishing just how consistent the grind is even when you push for something a little coarser. The one issue I have is that the catch cup doesn't fit tight enough and there's been times when it's fallen off when I've picked it up. Would have been nice to have some kind of twist knurling in place to keep it secure but it's not a big issue. You're not going to get Espresso fine grinds from it, but you really shouldn't expect that at this sort of price. For everything but that it's fantastic!

I like wild camping, I also like freshly ground coffee. The Rhino Small hand Grinder packs easy in my rucksack, grinds small amounts of coffee perfectly and allows me to have fresh coffee in wild and remote places using an Aero Press. A perfect combination.

I bought this as a Christmas gift, so can’t really review it as yet, but it looks great & seems very well made. Fantastic service from Coffeehit.

Small but don't let that put you off because this has all the options covered. It grinds for all coffee makers and fits neatly inside my travel mug. Personally I rate this one as more useful and travel friendly than the larger one. Great product

This grinder works well and is nicely made. It is designed only for grinding 1 or 2 servings worth of coffee at a time as you might expect with a product designed for use with the Aeropress. If you want to grind more than that in one go, choose the standard version of this grinder; it's the same price and can do 40 grams or so in one fill. Very nice bit of kit, but it is a bit of time and effort to use, as with all hand grinders.

Not had it long enough to give a proper review yet, but, in the two weeks I've owned it, it has proven to be robust enough and capable to do what it was bought for. Excellent for AeroPress and drip, not yet tried it for espresso
