I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

“I bought this as a last minute present for my husband who is very particular about his coffee and he really likes it. It looks very stylish compared to our old method of using an old cafetière jug with a plastic filter on top. The neck is wide enough for cleaning. The order came very quickly. Thank you Coffee Hit. Our daughter bought a packet of coffee from Monmouths to complete the experience. One comment, I don't remember being prompted during my purchase to buy some of the special filters. It is probably worthwhile trying them out as they are better suited to the Chemex.”

“I've been using a cheap generic version for a while and was actually hoping for more when I bought the original Chemex. It's ok, but it's just glass and a piece of wood, just like the generic one.”
