I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

“Bought this one as a gift for someone else, I've had my own exact model for a year and can't stress enough how good this kettle is. So handy for precise temperatures when doing filter or aeropress. Timer feature is super handy to have it ready to go first thing in the morning. Great build quality and extremely reliable. Haven't looked back”

“The kettle is well made, and the temperature control is a very nice feature. The water tastes good too. But after using it only a couple of times, water scale marks started developing on the bottom surface, and the picture here shows the status after a week of use. Here in yorkshire, the water is quite soft (< 50 ppm), so it's a bit of a mystery why the scale marks are developed. Is this a natural thing for any kettle?”

“I’d already own the 0.6 litre Brewista kettle but I wanted a larger Kettle for multiple cups. I’m pleased. One can buy cheaper kettles but the features and quality of Brewista products left me in no doubt that this was what I wanted. I’ve used it three weeks or so now and I’m pleased with no regrets at all. The company I purchased from was perfectly good and I would happily use them again.”

“This is maybe the third top of the line kettle I’ve bought from Brewista, and I’m generally very happy with them. The V2 is a huge visual improvement over the previous iterations, as is the addition of a ‘just frikking boil’ button. I’m hard on equipment, so I wouldn’t mind a slightly tougher option in future. Great kettle for those who can’t justify a Stagg.”

“Great kettle, sturdy and well made, lots of functionality too with the integrated timer, keep warm, auto-brew etc. It’s not set out particularly intuitively but once you read the manual it’s not hard to figure out. Slight criticism is that the spout isn’t narrow enough to give a gentle pour into a V60 filter, so I’m having to pour it into a smaller pourer with a slimmer gooseneck. But meh. It’s an absolutely vital piece of kit if you are as obsessed with accuracy in coffee as I am. Highly recommend.”

It’s replacing a Chinese cheapie from Amazon that developed a leak after 8 months and it’s a lot more accurate and pleasant to use.
