About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

We have the solutions for you to make great coffee at home or in the cafe.

Enjoy!

Great kit, has all the required parts and is easy to fit. The videos are really helpful giving you step by step instructions.

This replacement set of parts was easy to fit using the instructions from the Baratza Support website. Only one problem, the instructions said nothing about the calibration screw which was sent in a plastic wallet. However, when asked, Pierce from Baratza sent a video which showed how to fit this, so all is well now. I have managed to fix my grinder for the cost of £17 for the whole set of parts.

Install was otherwise easy, but I was stuck for a bit when installing that one SCREW; I didn't know how to adjust black rings and where to insert screw. Baratza's instructions¹ assume the adjustment rings comes pre-assembled. This recalibration video², though not specifically for Preciso, got me on right track! I set the screw to "neutral". ¹ https://www.baratza.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Preciso-Adjustment-Ring-Replacement1.pdf ² https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyQ_AywdBRQ Spring sun into your office , Sampumon

Great, but there was a screw on the original adjustment section that seemed to be not required on the new one (would have needed to drill to use it). Not CoffeeHit's fault, but an issue that Baratza should address in their tutorials.

Missing the tiny screw (luckily I still had my old one) and 3 of the parts could have been pre-assembled, otherwise great

Great - but remember it doesn't come with the set-screw or the adjuster knob.
