About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

We have the solutions for you to make great coffee at home or in the cafe.

Enjoy!

Original part, extremely easy to replace following the amazing video tutorial from Baratza. They even explain you how to test the motor, to make sure that is the broken part. It works exactly as new. I only hope their mission to make lifelong lasting products, repairable and resellable over the years doesn't change with their acquisition from Breville..

After about 4 years my Baratza Encore suddenly stopped working. Using some excellent YouTube step-by-step videos, I diagnosed that the motor had failed. I ordered a replacement from CoffeeHit and received it promptly. It was so easy to install. My Baratza Encore is now working perfectly. Great coffee grinder that is designed so the user can easily replace parts. Great aftae sales service from CoffeeHit.

This motor is very easy to swap out, just mind and get the positive and negative the correct way round or the motor direction will be the wrong way.

My 4-year old Baratza Encore burnt out while I was grinding a bag of beans — I figured it was the motor because of a burning electrical smell, and after taking it apart all the wiring looked fine but the motor had soot all over it... Once the motor was in stock with CoffeeHit, it arrived promptly. Installation was a breeze with simple tools and following Baratza's tutorial on YouTube. Really cool that these replacement parts are available — doubly so because new Baratza Encores are out of stock everywhere!

Baratza Encore started playing up, motor got 'flat spots' - kept going with a bit of WD40 Specialist Silicone spray. Ordered motor, came next day. Grinder kept working until yesterday, swapped out the motor in about ten minutes - having watched a video. Piece of cake, anyone with a few simple tools could do it. Thank you CoffeeHit for keeping me in caffeine!

I had bought a second hand grinder, and quickly after I had purchased it the motor stopped working. It was really easy to replace. The old motor to about 15 seconds to grind out the coffee needed for an espresso. With the new motor et takes 7.3 seconds!!! That just makes the switch worth every cent.
