About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

“I've been really impressed with this filter. It produced a very different cup of coffee compared to paper filters. More body, bigger flavour, the only trade off is all the fines that make it into the bottom of the cup. For me closer to a French Press in that regard but a fair trade-off compared to the cleaner but lighter cups I get with a paper filter. The filter is also pretty solid and feels like it will last a while. Might try the finer filter in the future but happy with this.”

“I bought the standard size for use with my Aeropress. It's a well-made and packaged product and Able Brewing who make it sound like a good company. The brewing instructions emphasise pushing the plunger down slowly and I found that the speed influences the level of grounds passing through the filter, with a very small amount coming through with a slow, steady plunge pressure. This isn't an issue and if anything has enhanced the flavour of the coffee. I'd recommend this product and it's good to minimise the waste from paper filters. One essential tip is that you have to remember to take the filter out before popping the coffee out into the recycling caddy! :-)”

“Processing the order was easy and delivery communication was very good. Filter works well and the coffee taste is slightly better but maybe not quite good enough to counter the ease of use of an Aeropress with paper filters.”
