About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

We have the solutions for you to make great coffee at home or in the cafe.

Enjoy!

It wasn't wasn't working at the beginning because has had some manufacturing issues, but after lead replacement everything works well, also quality and painting is well made, definitely good investment if you want to keep your ceremonial ingredients fresh!!!

After hemming and hawing for about a year, I finally ordered an Atmos. It is of a MUCH higher quality then I anticipated! It's weighty and the vacum seal is killer. Definatly glad I fnally purchased!

This is a little bit magic as you swipe back and forth to seal it. The little black dot pops in on the lid and you know you've made a good seal. There's a very satisfying plunk as you press the button in to release the seal and air rushes back in. Also, it seems to keep coffee fresh! Mine had a problem with the lid and coffeehit instantly offered a replacement which delivered very quickly - I would guess this isn't the first time a lid has been faulty, but they couldn't have been better and when the container works, it's good.

Hi Keenan, The atmos is best for wholebean coffee. You may need to clean the filter. It may have a small amount of coffee in there, which will break the seal, please try the below: Follow these steps: Remove the gasket that surrounds the lid. Remove the metal and paper filter. Locate the slit for the pressure valve. Blow really hard to clear any dust stored in there. If you have a can of pressurized air, even better! Clean the filters. Use a very clean brush on the paper filter, then clean the metal filter. Make sure it has fully dried. Clean the gasket and make sure it’s completely dry. Reseal your Atmos. Also Fellow recommend that you twist the lid every 4-5 days to maintain a vacuum seal Here is a video at 13:15 explaining more about the seal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0JWuhE8a-w

Excellent product but the lid did work correctly. The lid is supposed to remove air to reduce the level of oxygen in the container. The company advised that some lids were faulty. I am waiting for a replacement but no sign of it yet
