About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

“Great piece of kit to keep my washed beans ready for grinding each morning. I leave one out of sunlight (hence the metal sides might be optimal), and one in the freezer which splits a 1kg bean bag, with a little over. When you depress the vacuum release, it sounds like a movie airlock and you can smell the vapour secreted by the beans so you know it’s serving it purpose to keep them at a constant and without decay. Glass is fine in the freezer, it’s not cracked and once the first unit it done out comes the freezer batch for another 2-4 weeks use. Although the metal sides would be good to protect from sunlight it’s enjoyable to see the bean level and check I’m using the washed and not espresso. A dial in the lid would be cool to show which type is housed, just what would help me of the beans looked too similar.”

“This sits alongside my coffee set-up as a point of pride, an attractive storage option, and it's great to be able to see at a glance how much coffee I've got left (any excuse to buy some more!). And as an added bonus, the vacuum seal, which rarely needs to be re-done, makes an incredibly satisfying noise when the button is pressed.”

“I love this so much, it looks great but also has a very snazzy vacuum mechanism. It’s easy to twist the cap and create the vacuum and so satisfying when you have to open it and get to press the button. Really speedy service from coffee hit too.”
