I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

“Not much of an improvement on the aeropress. Wouldn't recommend.”

“I'm affraid I'm underwhelmed. I already had a metal filter for my Aeropress so was used to the convenience of that. I bought the Fellow Prismo because I thought (as it claims) I would get better cremma...I get none. I thought perhaps my fairly old Aeropress wasn't creating enough pressure so I replaced it but that made no difference. That means it's either the Fellow Prismo or my coffee that's not working. In the instructions it specifically says use "finely ground coffee", I use illy ground coffee - is that classed as "finely ground"? I don't know, it comes in a tin and it works great with regular Aeropress, plus as one of the biggest coffee brands in the world so you would think it should be okay. Can't return it because 30 days return policy requires it to be unused.”

“This is my second Fellow Prismo and it's an essential part of my morning AeroPress coffee. So much easier than using paper filters, with no leaks or mess. If you have not got one already, what are you waiting for?”

“It's well put together but makes no discernable difference to the brew and is more difficult to clean than the standard aero press.”

“We bought this as all the reviews said it produced a crema on the coffee. It had not done so with our Illy coffee. Works ok, but no better than filters.”
