This was hard. Whilst the design was lovely sewing it up was really challenging. This was due mainly to the fact that as the fabric was a very open weave it frayed easily. Luckily I had cut a .5cm border all round but it was still difficult to sew and inserting the arms was a nightmare. It would be a good idea to print a wider seam allowance on the fabric and to encourage people to zigzag stitch all edges before sewing to stop the fraying.

I made a set of Cloth kit dolls in 1983 or thereabouts, and the little girl I made it for ( now a big woman) reminded me of this and recently made herself one of the vintage 70's dolls. I bought a kit to make a new doll for my little neighbour, thus keeping the tradition alive. I was very pleased to find Cloth Kit on line and to travel down memory lane. The quality is still great and I have used a period of convelescence to finish the Kiki doll and its dress. Thanks for keeping the inner child in me so happy! :-)

Bit disappointed with fabric being rather coarse cotton unlike previous doll kits, also the kit should point out that no filling/stuffing is included. I have had previous kits and filling was included. Finished doll is otherwise quite nice as expected.

Bought to use to repair a very old, much loved dolly whose tummy was falling apart. Very successful- can recommend these as very hard wearing and will take many years of living

The kit was fine but why can't you provide some kits for more clothes?! I made the one dress you have and made a pattern from it so I could make more, but it would be really nice if you could have some different style clothes. My grandaughter loves the doll and I know she would like more clothes. Thank you. I don't know whether my photos are here or not!

This doll was easy to cut out and make (for someone with a knowledge of sewing) but I’m sure anyone who can run a straight stitch on a machine would find it straightforward too. I recommend ordering the stuffing too- saves time and energy searching for this elsewhere. My granddaughter loved this doll (her very first doll), especially being able to dress and undress her. I have made another outfit to fit, and plan to make pyjamas and dressing gown too. Thanks Clothkits!

Lovely little rag doll fairly easy to make, I'm a newbie to sewing and used both machine and hand sewing. The instructions were easy to follow, and illustrations were helpful too.
