I was so pleased to see the Rag doll kits again and made both Polly Black and Kitty Blue for my two grandchildren, aged 2 and 4, my husband made little beds and I made bedding. They were a bit more fiddly than I remembered when I made them for my nieces in the 70's and 80's but I didn't have rheumatoid arthritis then. This Christmas I sent for your skirt patterns with the ricrac braid, with the left over material I made matching skirts for the two dollies. I watched everyone dress up on Skype on Christmas morning.

I got this kit for my daughter to make back in the 80's. She was 50 this year and still has the doll tucked away. Your kits were brilliant and I made loads back then. Only just re-discovered you.

I recently completed this with my mum and I love the design. She was quite tricky to make for a beginner but we got there and she is beautiful. My sister is called Polly so I have called her Maggie..

I bought Polly Black in the eighties and made her for my daughter who is now 30. Polly has endured well and been every much loved and has recently emigrated to Australia to be passed on to my first grandchild, Sage. A charming doll.
