Sorry to hear that but unfortunately natural treats can often have a bit of an odour. Dogs taste with their nose and for them, the smellier, the better.
We don't try to sell our products under the promise of 'smells like roses' but around how natural and beneficial they are for the dogs and promote health as opposed to some other less-smelly treats sold by companies who don't care about the health of your dog.
With regards to making your dog sick, maybe your dog is allergic to the protein or has had too many?
