“This is made with incredibly soft wood, not hard wood. Is clear that is it mass produced and poorly built. When we recieved the bench it had marks in the wood where it had been dropped/ damaged and the box was open. It also had the front plinth of the bench seat detached. We questioned whether to return the bench, but decided if we were to get a replacement we still would not be happy with the build, and new we would struggle getting what we wanted elsewhere after. My husband decided to take it apart, replace the tap nails it was together with, with some strong / longer wood screws and wood glued all the joints to make the bench more sterdy. We might aswell have built our own at this point.”
