“This is our first new vacuum cleaner for 25 years having had, and loved, our Volwerk all that time. we decided that it was time to get something lighter and cordless and after a lot of research and debating were looking for a bagged machine. I have never understood the fascination for bagless vacuums, really you are just replacing the bag with several filters that need replacing or cleaning regularly, which you do every time you change the bag. there isn't much choice of bagged cordless vacuums but the Capsule got the best reviews so that's what we went for. I have to say I am impressed, even though Which gave it a poor rating for its eco power setting I find it picks up well enough and if I need a bit more power there are 2 more settings. the controls are easy to use and conveniently placed. it's quite light and not as noisy as the Volwerk, although again Which rated it as noisy. The bags aren't big and you do lose a bit of suction once they are about half full, but at least you don't get covered in dust when you change them, another disadvantage I find with bagless machines. With 9 minutes run time on full power, which I rarely need, there's plenty of time to do the house, I've yet to get below 2 bars on the indicator. I like the fact it's not gaudy and brightly coloured, its sleek, quite slim, light, easy to use and efficient, strong and well built.”
