“This salmon was absolutely outstanding. I thought (when I ordered it) that it was a tad expensive until this huge piece of fish arrived and literally had to be folded in half to fit into my fridge. It was so generous, that I only used up a third of the salmon side as a hefty starter for 6 people for a Burns night dinner, leaving me with a good 2/3rds to eat at a later date - I have portioned it and frozen some. There was nothing left on any of the 6 plates. The salmon was beautiful - a good smokey taste, but not too salty or too much to cover up the taste of the salmon which was fantastic. All of my guests were well-impressed - two of whom used to run a wedding venue and both of whom asked for the source, as they had 'never tasted salmon as good as this'.”
“Tough and chewy.
Sometimes its very good - succulent and tasty, but this, as many others in the past is tough and chewy. If you have it as an open sandwich, if you need to chew through a piece you have to keep the remainder on the bread by using finger pressure to help with the bite.
The last one, in November was delicious in every way.”
