“I am so far very happy with my purchase (10L ultrasonic cleaner) which worked well when cleaning/reconditionong the Dellorto carburettors (x3) of my Benelli Sei motorcycle . These had sat used for 35 years and were in poor condition . I obtained good results by first completely dismantling each carb and soaking the various parts in a mixture of brake cleaner and white spirit for 2 days and then scrubbing them with a tooth brush ( to remove the worst of the petrol varnish ) prior to individually ultrasonically cleaning them . I have also used the cleaner (using the same procedure ) on similarly old Brembo brake calipers . I am sure I will find many other uses for the cleaner when getting the bike back on the road. Whilst I am sure the 6L version would have worked equally well, if storage space and funds permit, the 10L version does offer greater versatility and should allow you to tackle slightly larger cleaning jobs. Came with a useful package of extras as standard that allows you to hit the ground running , clear helpful instructions and quick delivery . I would recommend both the product and the company . “I use the Ultrasonic Bath to clean old carburettors and it does a fantastic job if I use it in conjunction with an appropriate cleaning fluid. One thing I tend to do is use an old kettle to boil up a litre of the fluid and it brings the bath up to its working temperature a lot more quickly than using the built in heater. Excellent product that I couldn't do without.”
