“I ordered over £700 of Brooks Grey 600x600 20mm garden tiles (order No. TG858346) on the 14th September and received a Paypal confirmation for the order. There was no email from Tile Giant, which is apparently a recognised fault, so should be addressed and fixed.
I have phoned the customer services on a number of occasions who were unable to help as the order was with the warehouse, although they eventually advised that the order was due for delivery on the 26th September.
I also emailed customer service who eventually provided a link to the courier service which indicated that delivery had now been confirmed for the 29th Sept...?
Apparently the warehouse / courier said this had been arranged with myself, although I have had no contact with them at any time by any means. Then the story changed to say that they had called my contractor and that my contractor had confirmed that the 29th would be OK. Unfortunately my contractor has had no contact with them at any time by any means and has provided me with his mobile call log as proof.
The tiles were delivered on the 29th Sept which was well over the 5 to 7 days the Tile Giant say they will deliver, even including 2 x weekends and a bank holiday. My job has now had to be put on hold for 2 x weeks for logistical issues / work clashing due to this delay.
Apparently this was all due to an issue with driver availability that was not highlighted to Tile Giant.
Overall this has been a display of poor management and extremely poor communication and I don't believe I will be using Tile Giant again for any future projects and I certainly could not recommend them unless they can improve communication and provide a more reliable and transparent courier service.
I have all my email correspondence and mobile call logs should anyone truly investigate this issue and your own telephone calls are recorded.”
“When the tiles are wet 2 circle marks appear on every tile in the space position. Tried to wipe them and still appear.
Awaiting on response from customer services/QA for the last week now - no news”
“I ordered 45 sq metres of these tiles assuming they would look something like the photograph a mid grey. These tiles are light grey causing me to think that they had sent me the wrong tiles. The landscaper had already laid some and I asked him to take them up whilst we checked they were that different. We were told they were the right tile which means the landscaper had lost a days work and I’m stuck with the wrong coloured tiles. Display pictures that show the true colour not very misleading ones Tile Giant”
