“Replacing the OEM thin brown (after 3k miles) 75W-80 oil with Castrol TRANSMAX Manual Multivehicle 75W-90 has made the gear shifting smoother and eliminating a small amount of "notchyness" and even sounds quieter, I don't believe this is my imagination. Same cold shift as before but offers the benefits of increased higher temperature viscocity when hot which will contribute to a longer lasting gearbox. Makes no difference to the mpg either!”
