“No idea as not used it yet. My car manufacturer will void my warranty if anything happens to the engine and recommends using 95 octane fuel if I cannot buy 97 or above. Im going to discuss further with my dealer.
I bought the addititive in case I had no option when travelling in Irelamd soon. Im keeping it until warranty expires.”
Hi,
I can completely understand voiding a warranty if something is added that takes a fluid out of spec (like a lot of oil additives), but you'd be using this to bring fuel into spec. This is basically the kind of thing that fuel companies add to normal unleaded to turn it into super.

“I have used this for years, even added to shell v power there is a noticeable smoothness and more keen acceleration, mpg increase mainly because it makes the engine run smooth a low speeds, much more tolerable to pootle around, top stuff.”
“Have only just started to use for new car, however the diesel additive I always felt did improve performance and economy. I am hoping this will be worthwhile in petrol engine as well.”
“Have just bought a petrol car after owning a deisel . The deisel equivalent of this kept the old car running and was excellent. Time will tell with the petrol engine but I am confident it will be OK”
“Always use Millers Ecomax petrol Treatment as was recommended some time ago as an Excellent additive to keep Engine clean and running well. Used in conjunction with Shell V power super petrol or Esso Synergy Supreme+ 99*. Have also used Tesco momentum. Any super fuel better for your engine if you intend to keep car running smoothly. ECOMAX Addative is used as an extra precaution with noticeable smooth running of engine. Touch wood my 12 year old Vauxhall Zafira B 1.6 capital Edition at 63000 will continue to run efficiently with limited wear and tear to Engine Components.”
