“Having experienced turbo failure causing catastrophic damage to the engine plus having full service history I still changed the oil using Castrol professional E0W-30 at six months and not the two year service interval, offering my purchase receipt for the oil from Opie (2023), a purchase receipt for the genuine oil filter, JLR honoured the warranty for full repair of the vehicle, having sampled the engine oil in their laboratory possibly? Anyway it’s a no brainier not to use the recommended JLR oil as others are not to spec! Well happy and will always use Opie for my oil supplier!”
