“I find Millers 10w50 CFS synthetic oil excellent for a 1980s Land Rover 109 V8 in place of the original 20w50 mineral oil. It flows faster at start-up but keeps the same viscosity at operating temperature. The early Rover V8 had a distributor-driven oil pump meaning hot oil pressure can be marginal at idle, so keeping a 50-weight at operating temperatures is sensible. As an ACEA A3/B4 oil it is dual use petrol and diesel, meaning it constins suitable levels of anti-wear addititves for older engines. I took this vehicle to Tunisia and noted inside the oil cap is much cleaner after using this oil for a couple of change cycles. The Rover V8 tends to produce carbon deposits as the volatile compounds in mineral oil are burned off, so this much cleaner oil helps in that regard. The engine seems to like it. Recommended British product.”
“My modified RX7 loves it. Puts up really well with the naturally hot running rotary engine and has helped a lot with fuel dilution when compared to other oils I've used in the past.”
“Great oil for my tuned car, and Opie are the only supplier I go to for my vehicle oils and lubes. Great service and super fast delivery, arrived safe and secure.”
