This oil reads like incredible stuff. Not the best in very cold weather. But outstanding at high temperatures and stress levels. The previous oil had a good reputation but was clearly end of life at 3000 miles. Helped on its way by a chipped turbo petrol. It will be interesting to see if this meets all its claims. It's from a racing background so I think it will. I will review again when I change it next year

Early days but engine is quieter and seems smoother. Complies with vw spec for pd engines.

Bought this to use in my sdv6 rangerover in place of the 5w30 C1 as specified by landrover. Towed our heavy caravan to South of France and back in 40degree heat(2600 miles towing) and all is good. For anyone concerned about dpf, my IID tool confirms regenerations are taking place at roughly the same intervals as c1 oil.

How does one review oil… well from what I’ve read, and professionals I’ve chewed the fat with. This is the stuff for the track day enthusiasts daily. This went in my 535D estate that doesn't see much abuse but certainly gets it’s legs stretched. Moreover, from use in past cars, oil burning with this oil is non existent, and in cars that I’ve had in the past that consume oil like it’s not a finite resource I find their consumption reducing significantly… how I do not know… This is LL04 compatible even when BMW’s new specifications on ash levels brought into affect in 2019. If you’re a petrol head who uses their car vigorously and maybe see a track day once or twice a year this is a solid choice. Where as the NT+ oil variant is a phenomenal product but only for track day use bearing in mind that is offers better high temperature protection, lower coefficient of friction but as a result, reduced cold start protection. Millers EE Performance C3 5w-40 = the work horse oil
