“I wanted these boots the minute they were available but couldn't justify buying yet another pair of boots from Moshulu. Almost bought them in the sale after Christmas but decided not to. So glad I waited as I just managed to get them at £69.00 rather than the full price. Didn't feel too bad about buying at this point, as my "Perrine 4" boots from Moshulu had just died!! An excellent buy. I am 71 and have one foot slightly larger than the other, with a bunion on the same foot so a lot of shoes and boots cause discomfort. I also get swollen ankles from medication but these were comfy from the minute I put them on, even with thick'ish socks. I wore them the next day with no problems and they've not been off my feet since. No rubbing and no hard bits. The leather is lovely and soft and once you've got the laces adjusted to suit, you can use the zip to put on and off. I chose the dark brown and was lucky enough to be able to get my size in my choice of colour. I am seriously considering another pair.”
“As a 77 year old who has been addicted to walking for nearly 60 years I have to say that these boots are the business! Suffering from age-related foot pain and disfigurement I thought I would have to give up serious walking, having tried soooo many different types of boots and shoes and been disappointed - and then I found Lydd. They are wide enough to accommodate spreading feet with a deep enough toe box to allow grumpy "little piggies" to have wiggle room and a nice soft collar to hold them snugly at the ankle and, so far, have proved to stand up to any amount of rain and soggy ground. They also look smart enough to pop in for a coffee or lunch after a walk (having first removed the mud of course). Can you tell I am deeply in love with these boots? I already have 4 pairs - one in each colour and a spare Indigo and am seriously considering stocking up on the other colours too.”
