“I bought the cornflower blue shoes in a size 40. I found them to be quite wide even with a sock. Because the sole is large and heavy, I found that the weight of the sole pulled the uppers away from my feet when I walked and caused rubbing at the heel, so sadly I had to return them. It was a shame because I loved the colour and style.”

“Lovely dark purple/blue colour, and I found them true to size. I did find that on my high instep feet, the straps were very tight, even with the buckles attachment to the shoe being elasticated. I took them to the local cobbler's and he added a few more holes to the straps, so now the straps are far less tight.”

I sometimes take a size 43 but was fine in the 42. Roomy, soft and look great with dresses as well as jeans. Had them on all day and no rubbing at all. Very tempted to buy the tan too whilst they are on sale. Really great shoe.”

I wanted shoes for every day that were not trainers and these are so utterly comfortable but with a bit more structure and support than trainers.
