“These were bought as a gift for me around 18 months ago. Unfortunately the quality was not good. The first time the boots were worn, the whole of the sole came off. I returned them to the local store and I was told that this had never happened before, but looking at the previous comments there may have been a fault.
I was provided with a second pair and now the zip has snapped so it is really difficult to fasten. I would have to think twice before my next purchase.”

“i bought these boots about18 months ago. Loved the style, the embossed pattern and the fit. The colour was a bit darker than expected - almost black - but OK. I wore them only occasionally and then one day I became aware of something flapping off the inner side of one of them. To my amazement, what I thought was genuine stitching was just a moulded strip stuck on to look like stitching and this had become detached. I glued it back on when I got home but then after a while the whole heel also became detached. I've glued that too but now I wear them even less and make sure I have a tube of strong glue with me when I do. Three stars for the positives but sadly I can't trust these boots any more.”

“I own a pair of Fiordland 2 which are very comfortable. I have just received a pair of fiord 3 in the same size and I am struggling to even get them on. Looking at the beside my old ones they seem narrower. This is very disappointing and I will be returning them.”

“Really lovely boots! Feel well made and I love the embossing detail. However I found the size completely off - I am almost always a women's size 8 and bought these boots in a 9 hoping to wear with thick socks over winter, however the 9 fitted pretty much perfectly with just normal socks.
I liked them so much I kept them anyway but I was disappointed I won't be able to use them as nice winter boots.”

“I loved the Fiord 2 boots and wanted to get another pair as my first two are beginning to wear out. These are just as pretty as the Fiord 3 but I think they're maybe a half-size smaller. I got a size 40/6.5 like with my Fiord 2 boots, and while those ones didn't require any breaking in at all, these ones do. I've been wearing them around for like a week now though and they're getting much comfier! Would recommend, but maybe go up a half size :)”
