I read the reviews which clearly give them a glowing review, but, in my head I was still wondering how and if the bit around your big toe could really be that comfortable from the get go. Now I have them, I know it most definitely can. The 'how' is simple, the leather is already so soft. There is no breaking in required. And what with the super soft sole, it's like putting on a brand new pair of slippers. That 'walking on clouds' feeling.
