The footbed is like a cloud - the ankle straps will need to prove themselves, as not sure how they will fare on hot feet, in the height of summer - but I am ever optimistic! “These are good sturdy sandals and I have not had any problems with the strap rubbing my ankle. The only problem I did have was with the studs that came off and were lost on the beach but Moshulu sent me spares in the post at no extra cost and my shoes look as good as new.”
