“I see what a previous reviewer means about a step under the instep. From the suede bit under the heel down to the sole is quite a steep 'slope.' This was a bit irritating to start with but after a couple of days it bedded down a bit and I didn't feel it any more. Other than that they are lovely both to look at and the comfort”
