These are a bit big around the calf but they’re such a lovely colour - blackcurrant - I couldn’t send them back and they’re good with jeans tucked in.”

“Have coveted these boots for so long and finally bought them in navy in sale. So excited when the arrived. Beautiful boots. Colour a lovely deep blue and well made. Then I tried them on. Ordered my usual size 7 and they were far too big on the width causing my feet to slop around and slip. The tops of the boots were very big around my calves which are not particularly chunky or thin but basically it looked like I had my husband's wellies on! Am sadly returning them. I wonder if a 6.5 size might be better but probably won't sort out problem with calves.They are lovely boots though.”

“This was my first purchase from Moshulu. The customer service has been wonderful. My boots fit well, are very comfortable. Great sole. But... my calves are very slim and they are too baggy around the top, despite tightening to the tightest notch. Also, the colour Smoothie is in reality much darker than the pics show on site. It is more a dark, raspberry colour. The site shows them to be much lighter,more like a true light pink. Hence, not so happy with the colour and wish i had bought the Blackcurrant. I live in Spain so postage back would be expensive.”
Thanks for your review Carolyn. We do try to ensure our images online represent the true colours of our products as closely as possible. I'm sorry if this wasn't quite right here and will certainly pass this on. Our Nightjar boots are made with a heavily waxed leather which you should find lightens a little over time, and therefore may become a little more how you expected.
