“I was so thrilled with my Blackcurrant Nightjar boots and called them my happy boots but very sadly they are no longer purple. At first I couldn't quite believe the colour change, especially from Moshulu as they are all about colour, aren't they? I didn't realise the gorgeous deep purple was just a starting point for a fade to a dull magenta. Even speaking to the nice staff at the local store and careful use of the Moshulu wax oil couldn't help. So now I have a pair of very comfortable, well constructed boots with very little smile factor. I don't know how colour-fast the other shades are but if your purchasing choice is motivated by colour, just be aware.”

“Really delighted with these boots! I take size 8 with a broad foot so I took a chance with these as they weren't recommended for wide feet. But I liked the style so much. They fit perfectly. The leather is wonderfully soft. I would definitely recommend.”
“I have coveted these boots for years but didn’t order them as felt they would very likely be too narrow for my large calves. I decided last week l needed to know for sure as l am the owner of many pairs of Moshulu ankle boots now. Sadly they were too narrow in the calves for me. They are a beautiful boot. Wonderful quality and sturdy. Please Moshulu consider doing a wider calf alternative to this boot. I’m sure l am not the only lady with a bit of extra weight on her who would like to wear a beautiful boot like this.”
“I ordered the Blackcurrant as I love purple, but the colour is far closer to brown. However, as with my other Nightjar boots they are comfy, fit well and are good quality (I would have exchanged for blue but none in my size :( )”
“Another quality Moshulu product, these boots do not disappoint. Having originally ordered Orke, they arrived a very dark shade so instead I exchanged for a pair of purple Nightjars. Soft, comfortable and a fabulous dark shade of purple I can't wait to wear them. Lucy in the Wimborne branch is delightful- she was serving 5 ladies on her own that day and remained efficient, cheerful and helpful- we all had a fun shopping experience!”
“I have had at least 5 pairs of Nightjar boots - navy, burgundy, green - and wear them constantly. Have completely worn out two pairs over the years and replaced them in the sale - bargain! They are the comfiest boots I’ve ever had. Lovely soft leather which polishes up a treat even after misuse in the mud!”
