“I am on my second pair of Alaska slippers. The first ones lasted almost two years and that included 2020 the year of lockdown, when they had a lot more wear than usual - most of every day in fact. They are really comfy, very light, pretty, quite durable, and most importantly for me they have a little lip at the heel, I think this is known as a Turkish mule, which enables my orthotics to sit tight and not slip out of the back of the slipper. This means I get the support my flat feet need so can wander around the house for hours without any back problems. I've just bought a new pair but whilst they're on offer I think I'll order another in a different colour....”
