“Bought to replace a very comfortable old pair of Moshulu sandals I was disappointed to find that the straps were less substantial than the old pair and that when they were fastened to fit my foot, an expanse of velcro was visible - not a smart look.”
“Bought to replace Melbourne and Cranberry sandals, bought several years ago and now coming to the end of their useful lives and unfortunately discontinued. The Avon looks similar on the surface, but is a much lighter and less substantial product and I very much doubt it will compete in the longevity stakes. Nevertheless first impression is comfortable and adequate for purpose, but not for heavy duty usage, unlike predecessors. Quality not as good as predecessor, but very few stylish sandals of this type available.”

“I am on my 3rd pair of Avon now, they last me about 2 years and to be honest, the only reason I replace them is the underfoot padding. The rest of the sandal is in near perfect condition. It is wonderful to be able to step straight into them and know I will get no blisters. A great design - keep it going!”
“I bought some Moshulu Avon type sandals quite a few years ago and loved them straight away as they were so comfortable. Unfortunately we don't seem to have any shops selling Moshulu in Tyneside any more! We were however in Cheltenham in May and came upon a shop there, so was able to treat myself to a new pair! Our daughters live near Yarnton, near Oxford and we came across another shop there today, so I though I would see if there were any in the sale - they had been sent back to the H.O. apparently and I should look on line. Sad to say I have just done that and no size 5 Avon Sandals! I love them, any ideas apart from waiting for next year? Chris”
