Tibet GTX Reviews

A workhorse of a boot and a cult favourite among hardcore backpackers and hunters. Super stable, it’s ideal for carrying heavy loads over long distances and rugged off-trail terrain. Ankle flex is a touch softer than previous versions. Durably waterproof/breathable.

I've waited a while to do my review, in fact I'd forgot but needed new laces so came back to the site and well here it is. They are rubbish! Ha ha only kidding! I was in the infantry - British Army for 10 years 85 - 95 and have been in the police since then, so in my time I've worn a few pairs of boots. These boots are fabulous. The fit and almost lack of breaking in is brilliant. They are very comfortable to wear whether hiking, gardening, going to the shops or just travelling. The quality is very good and they are made to last and are very tough, I've had these nearly two years now and have seen some use and are still in very good nick. The speed lace system is excellent and really helps with the fitting. Grip and water resistance good! I wore Danner boots on ops in the army and early on in the police and have been wearing Haix GSG9 for over 10 years as my work boot - these are better than all those. Haix quality seems to have gone down a notch over the last few years so when I need a new pair of work boots - Lowa will be my next go to from the military site. My insoles wore quite quickly and I replaced them with a pair of foot balance custom impacts (very good) which makes these boots even better. There you go that's my take on them - best hiking / trekking boots out there!
