“I have size 8.5 (uk) and wide feet and also suffer from plantar fasciitis so finding a high quality hiking boot that meets my requirements whilst having all the features you would expect is not easy. I’ve owned several other high spec boots from Scarpa and Meindl but all have come with compromises or simply have been uncomfortable. This is now my second pair of renegades and they are quite simply superb. Comfortable straight out the box and built to tackle most of the hiking routes and weather conditions you can find in the uk. I wear them for both low and high level routes and have found they can take pretty much any punishment. A really great pair of boots”
