“A great all around choice for hikes and treks, superlight, good support, just enough cushion without being soft and footprint cut close so not flopping around. Very comrtable, no break in needed, standing up to rocky and moor treks through the bogs with no leakage (unless you go in up to your knees). Great choice for a wide variety of terrain, snap lock lacing keeps the tongue straight and allows for cinching down the lower and upper sections seperately for big ups and downs. Highly recommended.”
“Great boots, a little different to the lowa zephyr that I’ve used since 2008 however so far I have absolutely no complaints. Very comfortable and a great looking boot also.”
“These felt comfortable straight away, Ive just been out with full pack for a couple of days and I love them. Comfortable, stable, waterproof...the only criticism I might have is they are a little less grippy on rock, but it's a slight criticism. For what I enjoy, a few days out with my tent, mostly on trails, these are really really good boots”
“Over the past 35 years or so I have climbed approximately 500 hills and during this time I have bought more than a few pairs of walking boots. The Randir GTX Mid boots were straight out of the box comfortable on a 12 mile hike, since then I've been out twice more and I can say that I am very pleased with them. As a 3 season mountain boot I would recommend these boots to anyone.
This is the only review I have ever made so that speaks for itself!”
