Randir GTX Mid Reviews

Heavier (or beefier) than I expected so I've moved them to Sring /Autumn use as they were an absolute steal! i'll just have to look for something lighter for the summer.

Best pair of boots I have ever had, We live in the souther highlands of Scotland and have a two year old Lab that needs a lot of exercise. This boot copes with the lot, track, road and bog. Big pluses are the two zone lacing system and the Vibram Cornerston sole. I am very hard on my heels and have suffered plantar faciitis on and off over the years. This sole forces you off your heels and on too the balls of your feet. Have now bought a second pair and so I highly recommend it.

Bought these in the women's but had only one size left which did not fit, but I loved the quality so much, so ordered the 8 in the mens, and it fit perfectly. I will add that I do have a narrow foot and often struggle to find a narrow shoe, but these are perfect. They lace quite near to the toe which helps. The quality of another returned sale lowa boot won me over in trying to obtain a lowa boot. After a hunt through scarpa, mammut and la sportiva, I finally found my boots!

Randir GTX mid. Outstanding boots. Comfortable straight out the box. Incredibly grippy, 4 wheel drive for the feet. Used them to trek to Everest base camp. No issues whatsoever.
