“I bought these for urban wear, as the description suggests. They are terrible in the wet! The sole slips like ice on brick paving such that is in town centres, and also on car park asphalt. Even a bit of moisture and they have zero traction! I've had this problem with other brands too. This is after 3 months I would consider the soles should be bedded in and gripping correctly.
They are comfortable for wide feet and in dry and off road they are fine, just useless when walking in town after rain. My DM's do not have this problem, nor my old 5.10's (which were discontinued). Would love to know what shoe manufacturers use in their soles nowadays that causes them to be slippery on these surfaces.”
