“The first pair of Lowa’s I’ve had, got my pair since December.
Have used them for several long hiking trips into the Scottish mountains including very wet bog, and sharp boulder fields, many summits and they’ve performed brilliantly.
I only buy Goretex boots since our wet climate requires this.
To sum it up,
Very very comfortable, they fit brilliantly. They took a little bit of breaking in.
Sturdy enough for rugged mountain walks
Not heavy,
Can be worn for daily / general use.
Would say they are suitable for spring, summer and autumn, so a three season boot.
I have an old pair of Raichle’s that I keep for winter, but they are too warm for summer hiking.
Overall 10/10. Will buy Lowa next time.”
