“Bought a pair on 31/12)24 and used them moderately until end of May . After that very sporadic use. The soles have worn significantly, particularly the heels where the rubber had come off. I took them back to the shop under warranty but was told it's wear and tear so no claim. The short 6 months of use was irrelevant. New soles cost £105. From LRS. So not worth it. Disappointing tbh I used them on mixed terrain as described by the shop.”
“A brilliant pair of light weight walking boots - extremely comfortable. Straight out of the box did an 8 mile hike in them on a hot day. Throughly recommended!!”
“I’ve had mine for nearly 4 years - pretty much every day; for work, dog walking and ‘proper’ walking. They were very comfortable from day one (a bit tight on the little toe on one side if I did 15 miles +). Now the uppers have worn out where the toe caps meet the main ‘body’ of the boot - a weak point in any boot/shoe - and they let in water, but after all that wear I’m not surprised.
Nb. I’m female but had to buy mens boots because I need a size 9. I see Lowa do do womens size 9, but only in the more expensive models - which is not great for those of us on a budget. Men aren’t penalised like this.”
