“Excellent build and great fit for my feet. Searched this year for quality walking shoes and found several slightly cheaper, although well-recognised brands, to be hopelessly inadequate for regular use on 8-12 mile outings - some actually injured/sliced my heels and most had 'hot-spots' (poor build finishing) that caused blisters. These Renegades are my first purchase of Lowa footwear, but will not be my last. After about 500 miles use, the only small criticism I have is that the supplied lacing seems to stretch/slip over time, which allows the foot to slide around in the heel. Same issue found with the supplied sole insert and with Superfeet (green) insoles. Not a massive pain, but do need to retighten laces about every hour. Would be 5-star review if the laces were 'stickier'.”
