Love this stuff! It is quite oily but does not smell of sun lotion and protects my skin!

Very very oily. This balm goes on easily, but it stays oily on the skin and gets worse with heat, even if just a little is used. In fact, it was so oily that I ended up getting some in my eyes on a couple of occasions in particularly hot days. The only redeeming factor is that the spf is good.

The best sunscreen I’ve used yet! Melting Balm is the way forward!

Oily and staining! Product had already leaked through to the cardboard upon arrival (even though it seemed sealed). Has no scent, won't irritate your skin but has stained my bra and dress yellow - if you wipe it off your skin after application you can see it is a yellow residue. It is a yellow gel from the tube, not sure why it has to be coloured at all as I now have marks all around the armpits and neckline of a dress I wore whilst using it. Have loved all other FT products, but this one is not fit for purpose, unless you intend to use it on a makeup free face, don't mind being highly shiny and can avoid it coming into contact with your clothes. Emailed them and just got a generic returns email, not too fussed about the return more about the formulation of this product and no warning that it would stain. Would not use again for these reasons, expensive for 50ml also - a little will go a long way because it is such an oily formulation. Would stick to using near my eyes as it does cause no irritation unlike traditional suncreams, but quite niche and expensive to buy to only use it for around my eyes. I see FT have an SPF moisturiser now, so will probably give that a go, but not if it is as yellow as this.

Sorry to hear this Alexandra - we've contacted you separately with a refund. The yellow is from the Tinosorb rather than any additonal colouring we've added as we've tried to keep the formula as simple as possible. It may have needed a little longer to dry upon application in this instance. You may prefer the Amil-C SPF whip. Jamie

Great product. Spread easily over skin, leaving a smooth look, not too oily at all. Offers great protection.

I love the texture of the product, as it melts it gives a good even coverage across your skin. I have found that using a small amount is enough to cover a large space without leaving it feeling too oily.

Great easy to use product I combine it with facetheory regina-c with retinol vitamin c and hyaluronic acid , I can see the difference with in my skins appearance in just a few weeks brighter and fresher no reactions and I have very sensitive skin , would definitely recommend these two products Sharon

This sunscreen is a lovely texture, melts as described and you don't need much to cover the face and neck, it will last a long time. However I can't apply makeup after use as it's just too oily. Perfect for no makeup days at home but I won't be able to use it daily once we're back at work.
